Pull the motor out, drop in the v8, change the trans crossmember to a double hump if not done yet, bolt up whatever trans and run your fuel lines to whatever and have fun. Depends if you are running carb or efi though. 8.8 doesn't have to be done to get it drivable, 7.5's can take alot. If you are talking about a 94/95 then you don't have th change the kmember or suspension(springs may be different) at all. They are the same as the gt's. If you are talking old school four eyed sixer then the front suspension doesn't have to be changed but for the better brakes you might want to.
The question is what year body are you talking about!

im already building a 347 on the side so when it is done its going to be a motorswap thing anyway. I have also come to realize that v6 are way easier to come by, way cheaper, and most havent had the snot beat out of them.

but the k member is exactly the same from the v6 to the GTs? on a 94-95?
