if it was me, id do a cyl leak down test, id have the charging system tested, id inspect all the suspension, id check tires, id check for all the spots rust could form, id inspect plugs, id as well test the cooling system. id just go through any and everything, that way you know exactly what your buying.....plus it helps with negotiating lol also take a vacc. reading.

examine the rust and drive it and listen for any abnormal noises and make a list of all the broken stuff that'll take to get the car up to standard.

^^^I think he is just making a statement about what he feels is the best but looks as if he made a mistake, it should read 5.7L ford pushrod ftw!!!

haha yeah mjr46 is right, ive always liked the 5.7 pushrod lol. but no the 88 has the 5.0 in it. but sadly the owner jsut emailed me and said he is going to keep the stang p.s. i was oging to trade a 89 civic si for it. he needed something that was better on gas, and i wanted to become part of an american legacy. but looks like it is not to be....yet.

well that puddle jumper is my dads car, gets 38mpg on highway. hes had it for a couple years, but we were gonan trade it. i have a 92 hatch back that gets around 33mpg, but he already has dibs on it because it has crusie control. he drives ~50 miles to work and back so it would be a good car for him. i just want my *&%$#@! mustang.
