Default New track times

I cracked off a 13.90 @ 99.00 / 1.93 60 on Thurs with slicks. (212 da, actual elevation 33) Broke into the 8.9s on the 1/8th too. It was my first time running slicks, et drags. I made a fool of myself the first run, the burnout sucked and I launched like a panzy to a 2.05 60. The second time (13.90 pass)was a good burnout. I launched at 36-3700 which bogged pritty well off the line. I guess I was still too nerveous to dead hook with a 4500-5000 drop. Over all it wasn't that bad, a relitively good judge of what is in it. I think a 1.90 or maybe a 1.89 in the 60 still, and a 13.85 maybe a 13.799999 is not out of the question. The third run my feet got stuck on the pedals in the burnout box and I reved to 7000 and blew out part of the water pump gasket, only 2 runs for the night.

R/T - .301 (gross)
60' -.1938
330' - 5.759
1/8 - 8.904
MPH - 78.30
1000 -11.614
1/4 - 13.902
MPH - 99.00

Well, It's always the track where you break your ****. They say you can do 100 hard launches on the street and one on the track and BAM, your **** broke. Not bad though man. Hope you get it fixed up and back on the track soon.

It was good enough to drive the 30 miles home, just not enough to not spew liquid at high rpms.

Stock heads yea,

Used bbk regular length headers
bbk h pipe without cats
3.73 out of a turbo coupe
no smog, no ac
Timing at 14* 87 gas
26x10 et drags

Im guestimating its making right near 240 fly.

US -13 IN DEL.It is actually my sons car and I will get him to post some pix!I own a machine shop and just started helping him with his car.He didn't seem very interested in going fast up until about 3 months ago.I have built 2 engines for it a 306 with stock heads that i ported-radius valve job and milled. I hot tanked -cam bearings -freeze plugged and true decked the block bored it .030 over and lb plate honed it.We put ARP rod bolts in it and balanced the rotating assembly.I sent his old cam to a friend of mine that owns camcraft and he reground it for me .465 .465 lift 216 218 at .050 on a 112.it is in between a E303 and stock.this engine will go in next so he can learn how to drive a little better.I have also built a 347 with victor jr heads that i ported.they flowed 318 cfm @.650 on the intake and 255 cfm on the exhuast @.650 lift it has a custom hyd roller cam 9.8 to 1 compression. for this one I am going to need a better tranny and converter but it will probably be a year or so before it go's in! I am having fun playing with his car trying to make it go faster with whats in it (135k miles) 302. when it pops we will stick the other 302 in it and see what the difference is.This is a nice Forum and i will keep you posted on how it runs!maybe I can help someone else on how and what to spend there money on!
