Default New Radiator

While looking for a part on my core support I noticed my radiator has a crack in it (caused a low coolant light last time I drove it). I want to get an aluminum one but I dont know what brand to look into. Also I dont know if I should run the stock fan (if possible) or just get an electric and if so what kind. So what do you suggest or have with good luck. Cooling at this point in time is not much of an issue but i plan on dropping in a 408 stroker before too much longer so I want to plan for that as well.

Also Im near Moorseville so a C&R radiator is also a possibility.

I ran that one for awhile... till my fan went flying through it -_- i forgot to tighten my fan all the way after fixing something else...

i currently have a summit brand radiator that works good too, i just think that one was better quality and it fit a lot better.. ihad to do bracket modification for the summit brand..

I just went with a cheapo though.

--edit the only reason i got the summit was the 50resto one was backordered for 2 weeks and i needed one asap.

Just to let everyone know I went with the Flex-a-Lite radiator/fan combo. Very Nice set up. Took me all day to install it (mainly due to bent core support). Very nice welds, nice polished look and Made in the USA! Also the instruction are very easy to follow and even gives a wiring diagram of the fan wiring. The Overflow doesnt allow for the low coolant sensor but it will not throw a light and the red/yellow wire can be used for the switch 12 volt source.

Only complaint was the brackets hit the hose tubes so they didn't sit flush. I little work with a grinder to make room and they fit perfect.

Id definitely recommend it if you have to money for it.

Haha. My brother wanted to know if I was trying to cool both of our cars. It just barely fits. Hopefully it will keep the future 408 cool.

Bro, I'm pretty sure that thing could keep a damn Sherman tank cool...
