Its 2 one inch tubes. It is big but I guess it would be the same size as the others out there that are 2 one inch tubes.

Hey Guys, I know this is an old post, but im curious if anyone has run into an issue with the upper and lower hoses fitting the radiator. I measured stock radiator hose connections at 1-1/4 in, 1-1/2 out. And Flex-a-Lite advertises 1-1/4 in, and 1-3/4 out. I called to confirm and that is what they told me.

How did you get the lower hose to fit?

Dont remember any hose issues. That radiator developed a leak at one of the tubes where it when into the left tank. I got a new one from Griffin when I rebuilt the car over the last two years. It has the correct hose size outlets. Heres a link to it.

I did one of these for a guy on an 84 gt back around Christmas time....that radiator is a nice piece, however in my opinion it takes up way to much space and makes things tight....either way It works, and yes we ran into an issue with new hoses the guy had bought from the local parts stores....the bends and kinks were not as well as OEM hoses.....so I told him to take them back and get some good hoses....he bought the blue goodyear radiator hose kit and they worked like a charm....so that's how I solved that issue.

I went with SR Performance Aluminum Radiator. It's direct fit so you can reuse your shroud and fan. I want some race car bling so I'm using -12 an hose and proper -an reducers.
