Default factory gauges

anyone ever have any problems with the factory gauges in a fox body? my oil pressure gauge has been going crazy lately. i checked the oil level and everything is fine. the needle stays in the "normal" level on the gauge but it just jumps around all over the place. just wondering if anyone has had this problem, thanks

those guages are junk, i'd never trust them. get aftermarket mechanical gauges, they are cheap and trustworthy insurance.

Sounds like it's your low oils sensor.

The low oil sensor would cause the needle to jump around?

My oil pressure gauge did the same thing. I replaced it with a aftermarket mechanical and no more problems.

If the sensor goes bad, yes the needle can fluctuate.
