iv'e always heard that it was opposite but i could be wrong. i had been told when i went for my maf conversion on my 88 it was the way i stated

i could be wrong too and mis quoting MJR. lol. but like you, except, i've always heard the manual computers are more aggressive.

well it isnt i said earlier it has a h/c/i swap and it is already tuned but ill have to retune it for the manuel

dont retune it just for a manual swap. it will be fine.

Agreed, doesnt need to be retuned just for a manual swap (will barely see any kind of gain from this)
And sorry thought it was a different thread were a guy had a basically stock car

you really dont think it will need to be retuned? when i got it tuned with the auto i was really unhappy with it

cough** cause it was auto... lol imo stick cars are more fun and you get better power from em. i've driven auto 5.0s and no matter what it was still a dog compared to mine
