Default cherry bomb exhaust

Does anybody have cherry bombs on their 5.0? I know they are old school but i have heard sound clips of their new votec, and it sounds sweet. Not a fan of flowmasters, too loud and high toned for my taste. Looking for something else.

They blow out quick, Flowmaster make many differant variation of their Muffler. They are not limited to just one sound.

Instead of yuck, you could give me a reason why you say that. Is there something wrong with the quality, or do you just personally not care for them? That is why i asked.

Thanks for the feedback. I am from late 80's early 90's generation, and i don't remember cherry bombs being around. I had heard of them being popular in the 60's and 70's. I just checked there web site, and the new vortex sounded good IMO. Gotta bring back the old school sometimes baby. Joking aside i know a guy that has been doing exhaust for like twenty years, and these new cherry bombs are about all he sells now, with no complaints on them, but constant complaints on Flowmaster and magnaflows.

99% of all the Mustangs out there have Flowmasters, not that is the reason that you should get them, but there have been many that run them and are happy. Too many people run the single chamber Flowmasters, IMO the three chamber ones sound good. Personally I am fan of Dynomax. To me Cherrybombs are just to hillbilly and sound like garbage.

i agree with ya on that if yer talking about the old school cherrybomb glass packs, the red things, but they now offer some decent actual mufflers, i have a couple friends with them, not sure what the name of them is but they sound ok. not raspy and loud like the old school ones
