Default Boost problems!

Hey guys I put on a vortech a trim trick flow intake and all the other fuel stuf to go along with it. I went to the dyno yesterday and have a big problem! Im not making any boost!!!! It will hit about 5lbs at 5000rpms right as I lift off of it. I am stumped and so is my tuner? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

That's asking for trouble. The pressure has to have a place to vent after you let off the gas. Are all the connections for the piping tight?

sorry just got home from work.
Pro- they are tighter than a mother f***er

Kweb- As far as I know. But I only put down 200 on the dyno. Even with 5psi it should be makin a lil more.

Can you give us a list of all your mods? First of all, you will need a bypass valve. You may get away with it with only 5lbs of boost. But anything over 6lbs and it's mandatory. How tight is your belt? It needs to be super tight. I picked up 3psi(6-9) by retightning the belt. If you are running the stock SC pulley on the SC(6lb pulley I believe) then I would not be too worried with how much boost you are making. Your horsepower is what baffles me. You should at least be making 320rwhp. What plugs are you running and how are they gapped? They should be at .032 or lower. What is your timing at? If anything, your car may need a tune. And yeah, double check the piping. Take the piping off and retighten if you have to just to elimiante any possibilities.
