Default PCV valve location?

ive had a few posts up here already but im basically trying to do as much preventative maitnence before i got to college as i can, and i havent done this yet. Where the h*** is the PCV valve on this car, 95 GT?, ? ALso is the screen easy to get to, and can i just clean it with engine degreaser, or is it better to just put a new one in? Anybodys 2 cents is appriciated, thanks Jay.

Ooh …I just know that I’m gonna get chastised for posting these pics but it’s the best I can do to help showing you the PVC location and screened filter, so with that being said.

PCV Location

Rubber Grommet that holds the PCV in place

Screen Location

Screen

You can remove the screen with either needle nose pliers or a screw screwed into the metal filter.

The PCV just pulls out, however you'll have to work a little to get the grommet out, and even a little harder to get the filter out, all of which should be replaced. Be prepaired to remove the upper intake if push comes to shove because you don't want the filter in the bottom to become clogged, that's just as bad as the PCV valve failing. Don't worry, removing the upper intake will take all of 20 minutes, and the same to put it back on.
