.84 is fine, but if you want to adjust it more, you'll have to slightly enlarge the two holes on the tps.

You were told misinformation, the specification for the TPS is .5 - 1.19 vdc and it is a non-adjustable sensor.....the one in your setup is within that spec = no need to do any adjustment, the computer takes care of the rest. The .9xxx vdc TPS setting is in the same category as the Daedalus and Icarus myth as explained here.

You thought wrong, and so does the guy that told you, that is misinformation. I work in setups from stock to SC configurations, and they've been "set" as low as .65 vdc and as high as 1.1 vdc with no problems/changes in performance and/or driveability measured at the track/street.....

BTW, that's the reason why EFI setups use a computer loaded with a program (logic) to deal with those variables. Having it "set" at .6 vdc works exactly the same way as having it set at .99999 vdc.... not because I say so, but because the EFI logic does (as shown) + the reason why the TPS is non-adjustable, as also shown in the official tech manual section for the TPS replacement procedure.

Again, you're doing changes that are not required and that will not net any changes because the computer resets itself to the new values. YCYDYP though.
