Default new project

bought off a coworker for 800. just ripped out the moldy interior today and set the timing which was way off. seems to run better but it will backfire hella loud sounds like its coming from the muffler if i rev it to 4. havent checked fuel pressure or did a compresion test yet...

its a SD 87', im thinking of going carbed, or should i install MAF?

wow and i thought mine was bad when i first bought it. but that two alt thing is histericle. ahhaha i dont mean to poke fun, for 800 bucks i'd take it too...maybe less.

i'd stay EFI and just go MAF, cheaper IMO if you are mechanically enclined to fix any of the electricle gremlins that thing probably has. lol
