sellin the fox
Okay guys im just a little annoyed and i need to get it out to some people that actually understand what stuff is worth, ok so im sellin my 87 gt for a very reasonable "me taking a big loss" price (2500) bucks. and i tryed selling it back in winter, and it just was like okay screw it people arnt serious about stuff in winter, okay so its summer now, and ive had it posted for a week and ive showed it to alot of people. why cant people see what shi.t is worth and not try screwing me over and just messin with me. im so sick of it.

I paid $10K for my fox and I knew EXACTLY what I was buying and from who. It had 100,00kms when I bought it and still looks like it just rolled off of the production line. Your price range has me thinking she's hurting just a bit. A nice sofa costs $2K, if your car shows yellow on the bumpers or is modded with some mileage don't expect people to be spinning the turnstiles to line up. We're talking about a 15yr old car. Usually they are either mint or humpmobiles with a poorly installed stereo. Good luck with the sale...

no its fine. im trying to sell it asap so i can pay for the new car and to put money to finish the resto on the 68. i guess maybe i am a little low. its a fine car......ive always just seen them go for around 2-3k... just to toss it out there. everyone ive talked to around here tryin to sell cars, they hate it. everyone is so stuck up and is expecting a penny to be worth gold.

I'm probaby the last person you want to get advice from considering I paid ten grand for a fifteen year old car. $2500.00 here buys you a mechanic's dream. Don't expect to recoup your performance investment and expect many lowballing testpilots. Good luck bro...

Perhaps some pics or at least more info. See my sig below? If I added that the car was arctic silver with black cloth GT interior a potential buyer would have almost all the info they would need before calling me and setting up an appointment to view. My advice to anyone is don't softsoap. Describe your vehicle exactly how you viewed it from ten feet away right down to how dirty it is. Peeps in the know will feel you out for a curbster trying to make a buck if that's your thing. Be honest, be genuine, and always know the product you're peddling better then the buyer no matter what...

DAMN YOU TYPE FAST! I'm an old man on this forum, 37yrs old. If you are as honest as you say you will have no problem selling that GT. I have bought and sold many cars. I have never bought new because I own a home in a very expensive place. Even if I didn;t I will always let some other fvckstick absorb the depreciation. Know your ****, show it well and you will get what you want in the end. Understand that the demographic you should be focussing on is 16-25. Make sure you don't say the intercooler is meth injected to support the longtuibes. My bank manager had a cheque ready for a car that, after meeting the guy knew was a major miscalculation. You can't buy and sell cars without knowing what you're selling. The person looking for a 10K used car is going to be entirely different than one looking for a beater. Educate yourself on each's buying bone and conduct yourself accordingly. Again, best of luck with the sale :-) *Yes I've had a few beers*

trust me, i know my stuff so im up to speed. like i said. im just sick of people tryin to get gold for a penny. or so it seems. its like u said a good sofa is 2k. the tv we just got for the house alone was 1900 bucks. i mean a tv is the price of a car almost? i mean i know id spend the 2500bucks flat out right away if i found what i have..... just irritates me majorly....
