I have a stock motor. What would the benefits be on an aftermarket
ignition and which brand? Right now it is stock and works great.

 

not a hole lot. maybe lil better gas milage. i have the mallory hi fire6 box. it has a built in start retard,2 step,rpm activation switch,boost control,etc... it would be a good place to start if you plan on alot of mods down the road. i did mine late in the build but did the biggest change.cleared up all the misfireing and hesitation.
