Hey guys im ordering some gears from latemodel resto and I was thinking off also getting a cai. Do you think its worth it? Im a poor student so id rather not waste my money. Whats better the bbk or the mac?

 

i dont remember noticing any huge difference but i had a mac on my old 88. it sounded cool haha

my friend has a 95 cobra and with all the commotion about a cai/tuner for the s197, would he see any similar gains?

 

the sound will change in the form of a nice little whistle lol. i have the bbk intake, and i love it. the gears that your buying will make the most difference though. i went from the stock 3.08 to 3.73's and it was amazing. the intake won't make a huge difference. but it's a good place to start hope this helps.
