im not worried about rust.... ive cut out chunks from the 1/4 already that had rust on it, used to doing body work... dont like it, but i am capable of doing it
Green is where it's at, keep it green, our car's are awesome. But... if you MUST change it, I'd say blue, it seems that every fox around where here is red or silver. Just annoying now. I'm getting mine repainted soon... and I'm having it resprayed green.
Did you spary it yourself? if so was it a hard color to spray?
Yeah I sprayed the car at a friend of mines paint booth. My shop just allows for to much dirt. The color covers ok, but not like a dark color does. I sprayed my car down with a genaric competion orange base before using an entire gallon of paint on the car. I'm sure it would of looked even better if I sprayed a silver base first because the paint I had was alot like a candy and just kept on putting coats of paint on untill I had enough coverage. ALL in all, you better be ready for a bunch of BS sanding if you want to change color completely like I did. all the jams, under side of hood and deck and everwhere else you can think of seeing the original paint. I didn't mind it because I didn't like the original color. Good Luck either way you choose to go with it.
