Default Just wondering about HP Gains
I have a 91 GT all stock except for a CAI. I was wondering how much HP Gain would I see if I remove the AC and change the Clutch fan to electric? Would it be worth the trouble?

its a great mod, just do it. HP doesnt matter, matters how quick you are.

In my opinoin you would be ruining the car by taking of the a/c unless you are building a all out race car. As far a a electric fan there are better places to spend money.

Do you use your A/C ? If not, ditch it, I never use my A/C, and our fox came from the factory without it.

if you dont use the ac then get rid of it, but otherwise dont bother. you wont gain any hp since the ac clutch doesnt engage while in WOT anyways

You may wish you had the A/C back when sweating in traffic someday.It doesn't make that much difference.The fan would be a better bet and maybe a smog pump eliminator to start.
