Default staggered tire size

Does anyone have any experience with staggering tire sizes on fox
mustangs? I have 245/45-17's on 17x9" rims on all 4 corners but was thinking of putting 235/45-17's on the front next time I buy tires which is coming up soon. Thanks.

I won't run a 245/45 on a 9 inch wheel. Thats high risk to run 235's. I've rolled 245's off a 9 inch wheel in a hard corner. Actually both front ones at the same time

With a 9" tire your pushing the "too small" limit with the 245's as it is. The best fitment would be a 250/40. Add a set of 275/40's in back and you'll be all set!

I want 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the back, very few rims are made in both sizes

^and what rub you do get can be fixed with a 3$ rack limiter.
