Default Guess what ill do at the track!...... AGAIN!

SOOOO let's play this game again, as it's interesting to see you ppl at sea level to guess elevation time's

Elevation is 5880ft above sea level DA is around 7000.

last time out with a crap launch (2.0 60ft, spinning off the line) i ran a best of 15.2@90mph

no burnout, and shifting like a tard.

sence last time, ive tore off the stock header's added BBK shortie's, and welded in Maximum Motorsport XL full length subframe connector's.

also this time im going to attempt to get the ET street radial's hot and attempt a decent burnout.

I want to change my shift point's also. last time on my best pass, i shifted off the stock tach at 5krpm

I will change it up this time, shifting out of first at 5500-6000rpm (OEM tach) out of second at 5500-6000, and out of 3rd at 5000rpm

so what do you guy's think?

my personal guess is a 1.9 60ft 14.5-14.7 @93mph

Good luck. Your 60's will definatly benefit. Be sure to change the tire pressure a little on the et's. I hear they are good around 15psi or so. But let us know so I know where to put mine when I take it to the track Your guess's seem pretty reasonable. As for the shift points I would go till you feel the thing stop pulling. It might take a few rounds but youll get it.

i had them at 21PSI last time, im starting there, and see how it hold's. Ive never done a burnout with a 5speed, so im prob going to stall it like a idiot

Practice on the way there lol. I am in the same boat. I havn't done a brake stand in a 5 speed in awhile. I did it in the 98 awhile back but that just doesnt feel the same (its a sixer). Just concetrate when you do it you'll be fine lol.

Water would still be better, oil can soak into the tires. Just hope for some rain lol

you have a lot of gear so just get in the box, give it a quick spin(to get the whole tire wet) roll out of the water box and then rev it up and dump the clutch and hold the break just enough to stop yourself from moving forward until you feel the tires start to grip. then you know you've got them hot enough.

stage and launch that SOB hard! i bet with a good 1.7 60' and good shifting you'll get a low 14 maybe even break into the high 13's. watchin your last video and you still got a 15.2....i really think you could knock a ton of time off your car.

do you know what the relative humidity is? that'll be a big factor as well.

I was only a tenth off last time...and I am at sea level. I am going to say 15.0 this time out.
