hey im new to the site but i recently bought an 88 mustang gt and was lookin into doing some performance mods to it but i dont know where to start. right now i have a cold air intake, headers, underdrive pullies, and an exhaust. If anyone could help me in what parts i should put on first i appreciate it.

+++1 to the gears. It's a great performance mod. But it's a mod that you might want the shop to handle. Parts and labor was $450 for me.

 

its an automatic and i was thinkin about getting 4.10 gears but i heard it hurts your gas mileage and its rough on your car????

 

4.10's arent that bad on gas milage from what i hear, i had 3.73's in my old 2000 gt and they were ok i kinda wished i had gone 4.10s. mods you can do the basics like gears, exhaust, maybe nitrous or h/c/i

 

What's your ultimate goal? Drag strip, road race, street only, DD? Makes a big differance before deciding on parts.
