pulling engine
just bought a 1 ton engine stand from GI Joes for 30 bucks. 1 ton should be enough right? its probably going to sit on the stand for a while and i was planning on building the whole thing on the stand.
also... i never worked on a manual car.... i just take the tranny out take off bell housing and flywheel and bolt engine stand to the bell housing holes? anyone got any advise? and jegs seems to only have 1 bolt kit so i assume that it should fit?

7/16" bolts, use the bellhousing bolt locations, and it isnt wise to leave the motor up on a stand for too long. you can actually distort the block from hanging it like that for too long.
best way to store an engine, is set it on end, crank side down, or top side down so the lifter valley is facing the floor
