Angry Well...well.well

Sorry for the long thread but i need some help, ive got a few questions.....first i tore the intake manifold off today to find a noise in the lower intake that was rattiling, well i found it! the spider tray used to hold the lifters in place was rigged, because this isnt the same block that came out...its a non roller 302 bored over so the screw holes arent there my uncle rigged it to work...my first question is will vertical link lifters work in my non-roller 302 bored over to a 347? And now that i have a non-roller block is there anything else as far as differences between the two i need to know about??? Thanks again Jamison

I would be interested in seeing how he made it work aswell. As far as I understood it, you couldn't run roller lifters in a non roller block, not because of the spider, but the oiling location on the roller lifters verse the non rollers. I thought you could only use special lifters...
