Default Rear drum to disc?

so i am looking to do a drum to disc swap/upgrade, there seem to be a lot of options. i am keeping the fronts stock so i do not need anything fancey. i ampretty sure i will need a different line bc of the difference in the placement of the discs? also i have heard about proportioning valves? do i need one? i there a kit that has what i need for a decent price? jegs has a ford racing kit for about $350 but it is just discs and calipers? any info would be great thanks mike

you won't need to buy new hard lines for the back but you will need to cut them and rebend them. on drums the hardlines go straight to the wheel cylinder but on the disc they will attach to a soft line.
