they are still pretty damn heavy though. i know the difference between an aluminum block and the iron block is around 80lbs. thats just in the block!!

id like to put some descent rods and pistons in it that way i can spin it some because i been told once they start seeing a lot of 7500 rpm shifts the rods make it a time bomb

but if you think about it it, having an engine thats weight is more centered than spread out will handle better since the weight is staying centered in the car than twords the outside of the car. i cant really explain it..

are you running a bare bones interior in this thing? I may have overlooked it, what kind of transmission? are you going to spray the mod motor? with that type of front end, I assume this will be a track only/ extremely limited street car? will that nose even pass inspection? just curious

but you know......... then you could always add nitrous............


so im guessing since there is no cage you are shooting for 11.50's ?

no it will have the trim in it but just hidden weight reduction. more than likely yea i will spray it. it will see its fair share of the track and i plan on driving it on the street to car shows and to my friends house around town.
