Default What is this Fox worth?

Ever since I got rid of my 01 GT I've wanted another Mustang. I found this 90 GT hatch at a local lot here in town and was wondering it it would be worth buying. I can't call to get info on it untill tomorrow but I've seen it setting there for awhile. I was wondering if you guys could give me an idea of what it's worth/what to offer. It doesn't have any dents but it deff needs a paint job along with headlights and tires.

Ha, didn't even notice the oil cap. The rear bumper is fine. I'm just looking for a cheap project car.

Some observations which affect price.

1) Auto
2) For some reason there are 2 sets of the salt and pepper shakers (10 pin connectors behind intake). There should only be 1. So I would look at that right away.
3) Interior does look nice.

I would perhaps say $2,500.

Would it be best to just pass on it? Are the auto's that bad in the 5.0's?

haha I picked up #2 also, AND I see the coil cover is in pretty good shape, looks unmolested in the mod department

You just have to consider what you want to do with it and how much you have to spend, and what level your skills are at.

If I picked up one like that, paint job ($1,500ish), swap to 5 speed ($500ish for a decent T-5, clutch, bellhousing, pedals, etc.). But I would be in about $5,000 for a Stock GT with new paint and a 5 speed, which to me would still need another $4k in mods...lol...
