Thanks for the comments guys. It still needs to be touched up and refined a bit, a little more painting to be done. I also need to get earlier model door panels so they will match the rest of my grey interior. Those came with my donor car so I wasn't really out anything. All the donor car had in it was those seats, door panels, and dash.

So I decided to ditch the GT40 intake and go with a Holley Systemax. The upper plenum had a nasty crack causing a vacuum leak. I decided to get the intake that I wanted to go with in the first place(the GT40 was free). Before, during and after shots..

Usually I bring my car to the shop on the weekends to work on it but I just couldnt contain my excitement when it showed up in the mail so I threw it on friday afternoon. Great deal on this one. It was a display model, never used so they knocked off $100.00! Also running a 1" TFS spacer.

Yeah the tensioner is close but I couldn't get anything smaller to fit. It started up a lot higher but as the belt stretched it came to where it is now and hasn't moved. There is about 1/2" clearance there.

^ Thanks army.
yeah the the heads were free as well. My plans were to build it with the gt40 intake and heads because I had them at my disposal. In a few years I am planning a H/C/I swap. Now that I have the intake I want it'll just be a C/H swap lol.

I will probably just leave this engine assembled and throw it in my brothers Mustang in a few years. He is away at BCT and really hating life right now so me and my Dad are on the hunt for a Mustang to surprise him with during the Christmas break they get.

cool!

I dont mean to trash talk your heads, its just that I know you would be much happier with some trickflow's like mine.

$800 buck's for some used ones like I got and they would be a radical change, even with the stock cam.
