So I went from a 5.0 to an LS1 camaro, recently something crazier!

Sick build man.
you cross breed them because LS1 engines are really cheap for the power potential, buying an aftermarket ford block and building it to the same power level would be a lot more costly. Not saying i'd put an LS1 in my Mustang but there is reasoning behind it beyond just trying to **** off the hardcore ford guys.
And built Ford tough is meant for their trucks, nothing tough about my Mustang lol.

I love Mustangs and know and understand the power/potential/cost of an LS1 but my morals would prevent me from doing such a thing.

Thanks! It was lots of work packed into 3 months.
Thanks!

it works both ways, I've seen plenty of chevy rides with ford power plants as well as ford rides with chevy power plants in them, to each his own

You're right though I should've stuck with an iron motor, out of date efi, relatively weak 5-speed trans. Not to mention, stock LS1 heads flow like 5.0 Trickflows.
