LS1's and their amazing cylinder heads respond crazy well to mods but I don't think they respond that well. I'd guess the car was cam'd.

4-7 swap? Very rarely do guys do that on LS1 motors, its much more common in LT1's.
Primetime's car has pulled (barely) on a cam'd C5, so I don't doubt that he could hold an edge on a cam'd Maro.
