yeah it's good, the '93 "z" is a little better... it's also a 2.95 1st gear so you get a little more out of it.

but i am a big fan of 3.35 and 4.10 gears, and won't go the z

the "z" is a cobra trans, reg t5 in '93 was the same as '92 t5

check http://www.ddperformance for all your t5 needs , the site changed since b4, it used to have a nice t5 guide , might still be there, i only was on for a minute looking for the "super alloy gearset" rebuild

a t-5 is a t-5 no matter what year, behind substantial power using them is a crap shot, but if your easy on them they will hold fine

oops forgot the dot com...

http://www.ddperformance.com

motorsport heavy duty is adequate, king cobra i don't like even though thats what i have, centerforce dual friction is way overkill

any of the medium duty will more than suffice... zoom, motorsport HD, the $200-ish ones

for a 13 sec car a t-5 in stock form is fine, my 92 is such and the t-5 has held to many high rpm launches....now the rear that's another story
