KYBs are pretty cheap and also pretty good for the price. Steeda caster camber plates are about 230 and work pretty well. Those were some of my first suspension upgrades, along with lowering springs. Basically any shock/strut will work with a lowered car.

How bad are the tires? Thats usually the main reason for getting cc plates.

I have the Granatelli Caster / Camber plates and they are a good design.
For daily driver I use Bilstein on everything I own. I put them on my '04 Super Duty Diesel and the difference was incredible. I have heard they make nice struts for mustangs as well.

i have a buddy with a sn95 with mac ones. he went over rail road tracks a little too fast(pretty nasty tracks) and broke one. So I wouldn't reccommend them. then i know 2 people with them, one has mm the other has upr, both have been good so far and pretty easy install(I installed both sets). I'd go upr in your case.
