Default EEC Connector (OBD1 Hook-Up)

Can anyone post a wiring diagram of the EEC connector as well as a picture of the connector and which terminals actually have wiring going to them. It seems some hack job screwed up my wiring when they tried to install an alarm system in the past. Also can someone post a picture of the single wire connection that is also required to be plugged into the scan tool.

Basically I have no idea which wires are right and which are wrong and would appreciate insight as to how to make my scan tool actually connect to the car. The wiring diagram in the Haynes manual doesn't seem to help me too much.

Thanks alot.

Not really, I have had an off/on CEL since I got the car 3 years ago. It may or may not affect my performance, I really don't know. After a 14.4 pass with just pulleys on street tires, I kind of put it off in my mind as not affecting performance.

It's time to start playing with the power now, since the rest of the car easily handle it. The first thing is clearing any possible codes. I know some can be present with out the CEL on.

yep, pretty much. always good to start with a clean slate...makes it easier to track down issues you come across as you mod. cause when you start modding its endless issues...so get ready if you havent modded a car before
