Well, I managed to pick up 2 codes via jumping with a test light. Then my persistence to get my scan tool to work paid off and I found 2 more minor ones.

KOEO

11 : System Pass
66 : Mass Air Flow Sensor Circuit Below Minimum Voltage
91 : Bank 2 Oxygen Sensor

KOER

21 : Engine Coolant Temp Out of Self Test Range

With the exception of replacing my oxygen sensors, how should I fix the other problems? New ECT and clean MAF? Or replace MAF?

Thanks.

1. Clear codes first and rerun a KOEO to make sure they were cleared.
2. Start engine and make sure coolant temp is above 160°F.
3. Rerun a KOER and check what codes show up.

Code 66 is a memory code, disconnecting the MAF engine running or starting the engine with the MAF disconnected will cause that code to be stored by "operator error".

Running a KOER with engine at op temp, will confirm if codes 91 and 21 are real failures first, this will prevent you throw $$ at problems that may not be solved by replacing parts, or problems that do not exist. Just a thought. LUK

Thanks, I'll get on it when I get home from work. Would these codes affect performance even if there is technically nothing wrong with the car?

Well, I meant could a "fake" code affect performance?

Cleared the codes and it seems I just have a bad o2 sensor.

Yes, I figure I'll replace both sensors, though. Bosch are only 40 bucks.
