I think I am just going to get a nitrous kit for the once in a while track trips, that should help a little. Other then having what I have ported and getting a cam I think I'm about maxxed out on what I have.

On an unported GT-40 lower, TFS-1 cam, Trickflow heads and boltons I made 271rwhp and 311rwtq through the AODE. Luckily for us, our automatics do have great potential. Plus you can suprise a lot of people. The car ran good. Although I did miss the torquey nature the car had with the stock cam. It just did not rev with it. BTW, the TFS-1 cam or Steeda #19 are great cams for our sensitive computers. F/I is great too. But why get N20 when you can go right to the boost: Supercharger that is. LOL! Anyway, have fun with your vert.

your good.... a good 60' time is better than 1.7 , and et drop is double that

your car is WAY HEAVY , my '90 lx vert was 4000 lbs w/ me in it and 1/2 tank (and i only weigh 150)

it ran 15.2 stock w/ 3.73 and exhaust , then 13.6 on 100 shot all about a 2.00 60' time

the "p" heads are not doing you justice if they are not ported, so in all honesty your only making about 15-20 real hp over stock and since your 200 lbs or so heavier than my old car.. your right where you should be

get some sticky tires and squirt 75 on it... then you'll be happy and the rest of year it will be a mild mannered daily driver for wifey

Thanks for the advice bob, man I hope I'm making more then 15-20 hp over stock with heads, Cobra intake, pullies, shorties, offroad H, Cold air intake, timing bump, etc.

I think I will get a flip chip and a nitrous kit in the near future for that rare ocasion we go to the track and have to beat on 80's camaros.

i dont see the need for a power adder when you can go faster with what you already have

you need sticky tires!! 2.4 60 ft suxs!! 1.7's or 1.8's should be the standard for a mostly stock stang with minimal suspension mods

I would go w a drag radial or something, a slick will bite too much and you may damage something, you should beef the drivetrain up w slicks...
