Default aluminum heads need help to decide

Hey guys,
I want to buy the aluminum heads for my 88 5.0, this is what I have in mind, MSD complete Dist, MSD 6AL 6420, cobra intake upper and lower manifold, TB 70 MM,24 mm injector (don't know what brand yet) Lunati Cam duration 284/290, lift .535/.544, set of roller rocker arm ford racing aluminum, 1.6 ratio (studs size 3/8), water pump edelbrock. so here is my question what heads should I buy and what specifications to match what I just mentioned ? if I am missing anything please let me know so I can added to my list.

Thanks hope I get a lot of responses !

+1 on the afr heads.

The only Cobra intake I would run to make any real power would be one that Bennettracing has had their hands on.

Could a ported upper and lower Cobra intake match or at least get close to the Bennet Racing version?

I don't see why it couldn't.

I say from him because, his shop is less than an hour away and I see a lot of his parts being sold at tracks I go to.

The ported cobra was the route i was hoping to go. I looked into the Bennet Racing intakes and they are customized exactly to your set of cylinder heads so im thinking that could get a little pricey

If you have one, you can send it to him to be extrude honed. It will be pricey. He has a lot of people doing his work for him.

From what I understand, it is where they cut the upper in half to port it, then weld it back together when they are done.

It is not going to be cheap. I went and talked to Jon about 5 year ago to do some work onon a 393 windsor. Using my block and rods, we were at 10 grand at the end of the conversation with a stage 2 port on the heads with a ported Victor intake to match.

I ended up having way less than half of that in one using a different builder with unported heads and one of his 69 blocks he had lying around.
