Default Just thought I'd say goodbye!

Well, unfortunately, I recently had an accident with my '04 Corolla. With only liability for insurance... it leaves me with 10 000$ of payments left to make over the next 4 years with university + rent + life to pay for.. so the stang has gotta go. The toys are over. Anyhow, I just want to take this (drunken) time, to thank everyone for all your help and encouragements over the past 8+ months of my membership. I wish you all the best and once again, thank you, for all you've taught me! Cheers!

Wow man, that really sucks...especially since you just got the damn thing straightened out. But you are making a very wise, mature decision and you should take pride in that. Good luck with everything in the real world and hopefully we'll see you back here one day, rocking another badass, clean fox.

Sorry to hear that you have to sell your car to pay for a debt. I had a similar problem when I lost my job and needed money to pay my mortgage. I was forced to sell my 01 Mustang GT convertible. I loved that car. Funny thing is I ended up losing the house anyway. The money I got wasn't enough. It lasted only a couple of months. Now that I think about it I was better off keeping the cash and just letting the house go. My mortgage company sold the house for $1. I guess when you have the federal government backing you with unlimited funds, who cares if you sell the house for a dollar. The government will cover your losses (bank's losses) not ours.
