Disappointing Trip to the Track. Need Advice
#31
I've reduced alot of weight. No back seats, no sound proofing, lighter front seats, no stereo or speakers. My reaction times were all around .196. Im gonna try some Drag radials Friday night. Im also going to go through this carb one more time.

stock drag radials
3.55 gears
2.1 60'
... those are your problems.. and yes the 2 are the same
every tenth of sixty is worth 2 tenths on the big end, so w/ a 1.7 (very easy to get) you'd be a second faster and where i'd expect you to be
4.10's , et streets and 3500 launch will put you there... trust me

Well here's an update after switching to drag radials and a little more fine tuning.
Friday night I ran a best of 14.42 @ 97.6 MPH. Still embarassing as hell. SO Im at a damn loss on what's going on with this car.

Hm, maybe you have a slight fuel problem. You got a 255 fuel pump?
I was getting disappointing times like that before and all I did was change the fuel pump for a 255 and my times automatically got a second better.
I also knew a guy with about the same setup and that was the problem also.
