hey guys anyone from maryland i got my car and totally forgot cant go historic til january, and well i have no smog pump, know anywhere i can get my car inspected??? need tags to have it in my driveway really dumb neighborhood laws not trying to be illegal just dont have a pump still have cats though!!!

might try and run it still. (if they dont notice the missing smog pump.)

drop the timing to 10* base and run some sea foam through the intake and gas tank and give it a shot.

make sure you go for a 30min drive to be sure the car is up to temprature, and the cat's are nice and hot.

what about the engine light though did the battery disconnect but still on when car turns on ??? anyone know how to get to it and just unplug it?

the dash comes apart pretty easy.

Ive never done it but there are 4 bolts i belive on the back part that will take it apart.

Yeah I'm from Maryland and I'm an inspector, by meaning get your car inspected, are you looking for someone to pass it without the smog pump on there??? cause that'd contridict your statement in the bold ABOVE......Anyway you can get tags without a inspection, they will just give you a 1 month sticker, since in MD the sticker goes on the back plate, back your car into your driveway so only the front plate shows, I seriously doubt anyone will walk up behind it and look for such...but put the smog back on, to pass it'll need all the bypass and diverter valve set up and accompanying hoses and vaccum lines hooked up, that's to say an inspector reviews your car by the book and they should

i don't have any of those parts unfortunately, just replaced o2 sensors they were black and looked smashed? maybe engine light will turn off now hopefully, and i already got the 30 day tags and they are expired i totaled my other car so now i'm down to this and no way to drive anywhere cause i need an inspection lol gurrrr
