Default Help did lowering springs shocks and struts Help

Hi im new to the forums. I bought a 1990 gt and cant be happier. Hopefully have pics up soon now to the serious part. I decided to do KYB shocks n struts with Ei bach pro kit lowering springs 1in drop on the back 1.5in on the front. My problem is the drop was way to low the front there is like no gap at all. I dont know if its the way i put the struts in or the springs just dropped it way to far. Plz help i look like a low rider mustang.

Would put up some pictures but i cant for some reason =/

I've heard the pro kit drops them alot, it's just the springs I think.

I'd give it a few, it probably looks really good and you're just not used to it yet. Foxes with about no gap look perfect with the right wheel and tire setup.

If you wanted to try to raise it up a little you could replace the worn stock rubber isolators with polyurethane ones.

...and you had isolators on the top and bottom of the spring right?

The sad thing is right, 4 months ago i bought the same kit with kyb struts and i HATED how low it was.

Checker out

I took the springs out the very next day and ordered the ford racing springs 1" in the front and .875 in the back . . .i think and they are great!

but good call with lowering the car it did wonders.

I put the pro-kit on my car, and I am pretty sure I got the amount of drop advertised. I used new isolators on the rear, and only a new top isolator on the front. I really like the stance it gave it, very subtle.
