Default Need Help Buying Parts

Alright so i just picked up a mostly stock 1985. You can see in my sig.

I want to start throwing bolt ons asap.

Im gonna start with exhaust, a new 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears, tires & rims, shifter, gauges.

- Exhuast - Headers, off road H or X, Flow masters
- 8.8 Rear end - 3.73s, probably ford racing gears
- Tires and Rims ( I have no idea ) Something cheap and nice looking!
- Shifter i want some sort of short shifter..
- I want an aftermarket RPM Tach, Oil, Temp, Battery..

If you guys know of any site pages you could link me to for any of these aftermarket products that are good deals i would appreciate it alot!

Ive been looking on summit racing and stuff but i dont know whats the best to get..

bbk stuff is ok, not the best tho. (mine worked fine) but the finish kinda doesnt last very long and it sounds good to
Definatly go with genuin ford racing gears (dont wine) while your inthere you might as well get a new diff, 31 spline axles and a rebuild kit with new bearins and shims.

For guages, i like autometers stuff

i normally use latemodelrestoraion, jegs, and summit.

carrabscars.com, steeda.ca, themustangshop.ca, wmsracing.com are all decent Canadian stores. I find living in Canada you really have to research the parts/ prices before you buy them to see if the mark up from the Canadian stores is worth the extra duties, shipping and what not. It tends to be cheaper from summit or jegs about 75% of the time though.
