Default Need Some Quick Help

Hey guys I just switched my 1990 LX over to manual steering with a FR Rack and steering shaft. I had it aligned today, but the steering wheel is upside-down. The guy said he couldnt get it right without disconnecting the shaft so he just left it. Can I take the steering wheel itself off and flip it around, or do I have to take the R&P off again? Please help Im leaving for a bracket race in a few hours! Thanks

The joint in the shaft should be replaceable, so in that respect you should be able to disassemble the joint and flip the upper half around, and reinstall.

I ended up just loosening the rack enough to get the shaft off and then straightened the wheel. Ill post up some results from tonite later on. Thanks

Well the track was busy so I didnt get to do any tuning at all but on a 100 shot I went 7.41 at 96mph on a 1.70 60ft. The track was pretty slick and it was hard to get hooked up. I wanted to try adding timing/bigger jets but just didnt have the time. I was pretty happy to be honest and Im ready to go back!

Haha I know but 1/8th was the only thing open last night. It equates to roughly 11.3-11.4 in the quarter. I was more than happy with it. Cant wait to get some different uppers and put the 150 jets in

Its only been to the 1/4 mi with the T5 and when it was N/A. It went 12.9xx at 105 mph and I believe my 60ft was 1.83. It was a rough T5 tho..very hard to shift/keep in gear. I wasnt expecting to pick up 13 mph in the 1/8th with just the 100 shot. Very pleased
