i bought a code scanner by actron today to run the codes on my fox, and i cant get any codes sent, im lost, i cannot get my car to idle correctly, ive replaced the egr the tps the iac, checked the timing, ive been running my car with the iac unplugged but as soon as i plug it in the idle becomes very rough and the car almost dies, is there any way to test the maf, thats the last thing i can think of but i wanted to to get the fault codes before i spent the 90 bucks on the the maf, but considering i cant get them sent, any suggestions?:i con_shrug:

ok took the code reader back, used the jumper got the codes came back the maf was bad, went and got a new one, put it on now i can plug the iac in and the car will idle, but the car runs liks shat, im at a complete loss on what next

loljust because it had a code in reference to a part didn't mean that part was bad , rerun the koer

 

well the check engine light went out when i put the new maf in and i redid the timing and it seems to run good when its cold, but kinda acts funny when its warm and the idle is a lot higher, like 2000 rpms after i drive it and it warms up when i come to a stop then it drops back down real slow
