Or rather, how much do they run? A link would still be appreciated =] Hoping it's only $50-$100

Sorry if it's a stupid question. Still learning. =]

Also, I've been reading up on people saying a wheel-hop kit or something should be installed with gears. I only have about $400 left and am wondering if this is crucial or if I'm going to be okay for another 2-4 weeks, etc.
Let me know! Buying in 4 hours. Very excited about the change. It's been too long without some goodies.
Also, how long does the install take? I have two friends that are geniuses with vehicles so it shouldn't be an issue. Break-In Period?

Depends how many times you need to set the gears or what ever its called. The shop I took it to took about 4 hours to do it. If the gears are installed correctly you should not need a break in period, but if you want to be safe I think its 500 miles break in.

Do you have an auto or 5-speed trans?
If 5-speed, I would suggest 3.73 gears over 4.10 unless you have a high winding engine.
1st gear will be really short with 4.10's.
That's my personal opinion and others may disagree.
4.10's with an AOD are fine.

all depends on what the car is for, we put 4.10's in pro50sc's car and going from 3.73's to such he picked up a few tenths, tire size is key to

This is true. A bit much for a 26" tire, but ok for a 28" tire.
