Why does it say for AOD?????

I thought that It didn't matter, and that ANY type of Headers will work on any type of mustang regardless of what kind of transmission it has...

from what I understand, the aod headers will fit either. Headers made for a 5-speed will not fit the aod without having to be bent.

my biggest concern is some people claim that mac headers don't fit well after some use and leak at the flanges.

They are a PITA to get in after the have already been on another car due to the individual flanges. If you can get the entire setup for $200 or less it would be well worth the time to instal. Personally I prefer BBK with the pro chamber!!

I wouldn't pay anything for mac headers. Good luck getting them to fit. No connectors between the tubes, no thanks.

mine actually took minimal effort to get bolted up... not bad for headers that were on a 10 second drag car...
