What is a good ign coil to use? Is accel good?

 

I run a Crane fireball ps 91. 5 years, no issues.

 

Do you know what part number it is? Is it made in the USA?

 

fyi MSD coil FTMFL (died one year, pretty much exactly, after i bought it). my free used and stored on a shelf for years stock one has lasted me 2years so far

+1 on the Crane coil, mine has given me plenty of spark!

 

mallory is awesome... never used crane, i would say NO on the accell though, msd b4 accell

 

Ive almays run Mallory and Ive never had one fail yet!! The Promaster I have now Ive been using for 6+ years.

 

Im running the crane and havent had any issues. I heard accel blows, and anything msd is junk. Sucks that cranes out of business though, or are they back? Someone told me that cranes back but will just be doing hardcore race applications. I know all the crane products on jegs are listed as not available.

 

I use the msd tfi coil

The used one that came with the box is several years old and still works...I went with the new one since I had already bought it
