Default I went to the track!!

Well, there was no build up to this or drawn out suspense, I figured with the dismal forcast projected for the yearend private mustang drag day event, it most likely wouldn't happen, so I didn't even plan for it until friday evening when it looked as if the weather would be good and it turned out to be!!, so friday night was a mad rush to prep the 85 and 92 for the event, by 2 a.m sat morning I finally had all ready, as most of you know I reconfigured my 347 set up with a custom cam, ported intake and custom 750 carb, anyway I'll cut to the chase, down low it has loads more pull, but by mid to late 3rd gear pull and in 4th it was kinda laying/ nosing over and feeling flat, in the 1/8 I was 3 mph faster with the new combo but by the 1/4 only 1 mph faster, I forgot my timing light so I was unable to test and tune that area and have yet to get a wideband, which I need as she's pig rich, so with some tuning , there's more left in it, but on the motor I only did 2 runs and on the bottle 2 as well and no powershifting or hard launches, I wanted to drive her home, anyway enough with the excuses..lol.....Anyway, I'm a little disappointed at the mph results but did better my et to a new best on both the motor and the bottle so all in all it was an okay day. as the story goes, there's more in it with tuning, I think the exhaust is holding it back = 1 5/8's lt's and 2 1/2 exhaust, just no money in the budget to address that issue
and here are the vids:
1st run:

What setup did you end up going with? And what carb? Good runs though. Looks like with tuning it should be able to run 10's.

That 10 sec run was sweet. did you get to run the 92?

I know a wide band shows fuel/air ratio but what tuning can really be done without a programmer? i was thinking of getting one but i thought they are mainly for turbos and superchargers, but i don't really know.
