Need to clean the throttle body. What should I use to clean and do I need to remove it to clean it?

 

No and yes. Do not have to remove to clean. Remove and can clean a bit better and is easier. Get some throttle body cleaner from parts house and a old tooth brush. Clean air bypass valve while you are in the cleaning mode.

 

carb cleaner and a rag is what i use. and bubba u mean the IAC valve

 

just get some throttle body cleaner down at the A-zone
