Wow hopefully i don't spend that much, that is pretty pricey would it be better to do that to the 28 spline rear or just go 31 spline? we shall see found a whole rear for about 250 with 3.73's...
Gotta pay to play!! I can tell you one thing, if you're planning on making any decent power, the rear is not a place to skimp.
What's the ultimate goal for the car? Maybe you don't need all that. How often are you planning on racing and what's your power goals?
When I had full exhaust, MAF, 70mm TB, UDP's, I ran a 10.17@71mph w/my 95 AODE(about a 15.7 quarter), so you're quicker than my mostly stock car was. If you have stock gears(just skimmed your post) I do not think you're time is that bad. Personally I'd wait on the stall converter. You want one that matches well with your future cam. I through in a 2800 stall w/my stock cam.....Big mistake! The car was a complete turd. I could not even do a peel out anymore. But by throwing in a TFS-1 cam(2000-5500rpm), it matched well with the stall and the car finally was able to run great. Just my experience.....
hey waht kinda 60ft times were u getting? i ran 15.2 in a gt hatch aod, only mods were cai, and o/r h pipe...i know verts are heavier. but with the gt40 motor id think it would beat a 15.1. maybe you can work on ur launch
