Default Oil pan with 2 plugs?

I read about ponyboy302 problem so if you only remove the front oil pan plug and not drain the back plug, how much oil is still going to be in the pan yet? I never new they had 2 plugs..............thanks

+1 what Adder said, I always considered it a 4qt/1qt split too.

1qt front, about 3.25qt rear and the rest is in the filter.

If anything, leave the front and drain the rear!! At least you will get most of the old stuff out

Honestly if it pains you to remove two plugs instead of one, you should just take the car to the dealer for service. 5.0 is one of easiest cars to change oil on. Both plugs are easily accessible and in clear view, and filter is accessible from the top.
