Go 65mm with your TB if you're staying n/a. 70mm if you're going to boost. 75mm is way too large for your setup.

your air filter is chrome..

with those bolt-on's you shouldn't really need a tune. the comp will learn the aftermarket stuff and virtually tune itself. when you add the spray.. get it tuned.

congratulations on those numbers. i think that is real good.

chrome don't get you home, but it looks good when you raise the hood.

any reason for your explaination? i was under the impression more air= more power? so why wouldnt you want an unrestricted pathway for air to get into your motor?

if the opening on the cobra intake is ported a 75mm throttle body should fit. i wouldnt put less than a 70mm on it

Tmoss on other website's can port that intake to flow just as good as the aftermarket one's if not better.

for the mod's i think the numbers are REALLY good.

there is still some left in the combo though.

Personal experience and research before I bought my throttle body. More air equals more power...to a point. Air velocity plays into it as well. There's no sense going to a huge TB if you aren't going to be forcing air (boost) into the intake.

Depends how the car is going to be used also. If this is a track car, or you're running it wide-open a good part of the time, then you'd probably be fine with 70mm for n/a. From my experience, a 65mm tb is better for an all around street car and drivability.

how is the throttle body going to affect the driveability? the bigger throttle would make more power plain and simple if the car is tuned for it.

i get tired about hearing about this velocity crap. i suppose your going to tell me the headers im putting on my car is too big? is the single plain intake on my 302 too big also? im sure you will tell me the carb will be too big also?

70mm throttle body is as small as i would go. period.

that velocity crap is OLD school. things have changed a bit. Everyone use to tip toe around the big throttle body's and MAF's

now you have plenty of ppl running 90mm and there car's run like beast's.

Wow, who lit the fuse on your tampon? Yeah you know what? Bigger is always better. My advice, find the biggest TB you can possibly get and jam it on there. Then look for the hugest headers...in fact, don't even run headers. Just let the exhaust blow straight out the head, less restriction and the best flow you can get. That's not too much, right?

Your logic makes no sense.

OP - Go out and do some research on the topic through Google and avoid taking advice from someone who describes their car as an "87 piece of ****" Good luck - 65-70mm will be fine.
