My friend got a scrap yard with a scale you drive on and that was what it said...3180 lbs. with out me in the car .

What have you removed from the car? My no frills 88 LX weighs that as built by Ford. No way a stock 93 GT weighs that with heavier seats, ground effects, airbag, etc.
Unless his scale is wrong. I weighed mine on a certified scale at the drag strip and again at work on a new semi scale.

lol, my 'vert is 3250 currently. After this little project is done, I hope to be at 3150.

Well,that what it said and I take all my roofing material waste to him so I'm sure he dosen't have the scale under weight he would be loosing money? but who knows??.....and yes the car is all stock,nothing taken out all original.

when I still had my 85 running I got the weight down to 2920 without me and that was with the carpet,top and bottom of the rear seat,a lot of the tar from the back of the car,the evap system and the 4 cyl. wiring harness from the comp. out,but it was weighed with my 75-100 lb. speakers and box,and a full tank of gas
